8th Air Force Oregon Archives

The 8thAF Oregon Historic Archives contain copyrighted material which is owned and controlled by their respective copyright holders. Memorial histories by WWII veterans include specific permissions for their use. The 8thAFHS Oregon Chapter does not own or manage these copyrights, and does not and cannot grant permission for their use or reproduction. Over 95% of items can be freely used without gaining prior permission from the owner.

Items in the chapter archive that can be freely used without prior permission are so stated by their respective authors. Option #1 is the designation for these copyrighted works on the notice sheet that is with each set of items. It is usually on the first page of each PDF document.

This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by 8thAFHSOregon.us, and informs its website users how we collect, store, and use personal information submitted on the site.
