Membership in the Oregon Chapter 8th AFHS
Membership is open to all people. You do not have to have been a member of the 8th AF or relative of a member to join.
Annual membership cost is only $15.00.
The goal of the organization is to learn from the people who were in the 8th Air Force during World War II, their relatives, descendants, historians, or others who have an interest in aviation combat during the Second World War over Europe.

Newsletter
The local chapter mails out a newsletter on a quarterly basis. It is one of the few places where you can read about some of the local people who actually flew in combat in WW II.
Research
The society maintains a reference library of donated material from present and past members of their experiences during the war. These original source documents, and written recollections, are accessible to all.

The goal of the Oregon Chapter of the 8th Air Force Historical Society's is to preserve the most complete picture of the history of the Mighty 8th as possible.
We can only do so if you participate and provide us information of your relative(s) that served in the Military from 1942 to the present.
The Historical Society always ensures your privacy, and does not share information with ANY outside entities.
